As part of the implementation of the «Іnternationalization Strategy of the Francysk Skaryna Gomel state University for 2018 — 2020«, the Faculty of History is actively working to establish international cooperation in the following areas:
— participation in students and staff mobility program within ERASMUS+ KA107 — exchange with Partner Countries (implemented mobility programs in cooperation with Faculty of Political Science and Security Studies Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland (2018-2019); Institute of medieval history, Faculty of Humanities in the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany (2017-2019));
— participation in professional exchange and mobility actions between Belarus and the EU within MOST program (implemented mobility programs in cooperation with House of the Wannsee Conference (2017), Buchenwald Memorial (2018); Institute of medieval history in the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany (2018); Museum of City History (Haus der Stadtgeschichte) in Offenbach am Main (Germany) (2018); Faculty of History in Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland (2019));
— cooperation with Yad Vashem — The World Holocaust Remembrance Center (Israel) (participation in summer schools in 2016-2019);
— maintaining of active scientific relations with partner Universities (Jagiellonian University of Cracow (Poland), University of Bialystok (Poland), Lomonosov Moscow state University (Russia), Bryansk state University named after academician I. G. Petrovsky (Russia), Pskov state University (Russia), Vinnytsia state pedagogical University named after M. Kotsyubinsky (Ukraine), Chernihiv state pedagogical University named after T. G. Shevchenko (Ukraine)) as well as international scientific associations (Gromyko Association for foreign policy research);
— conducting research commissioned by foreign organizations (Nanjing University of Science and Technology (2020-2021);
— work with international students.
